Types of Home Security Packages from Protection One
When you choose Protection One you have the option to choose either from a menu of comprehensive home security packages that include monthly alarm monitoring or you can pick and choose from the company’s menu of alarm, detection and monitoring devices.
Security Packages:
- Two InCharge Wireless Security packages—a standard and PLUS package-- include a limited number of interior motion detectors, window and door alarms, wireless keyring and outdoor signs. For the advanced package your system additionally includes more motion detectors, remote Internet monitoring that allows you to set and disarm your system while away, and advanced master control keypads. Both come standard with monthly alarm monitoring.
- Or choose a basic or PLUS FreedomOne Wireless package. These home systems include similar features to the InCharge systems, but add on home hazard detection that includes carbon monoxide detectors, water and flood detectors and lit outdoor signs.
Protection One Alarm Monitoring Services
How effective is your home security system without 24/7 monitoring? Protection One maintains a hierarchical number of monitoring centers located in various parts of the country. Standard monitoring centers are supported by Protection One employees and a full computer back-up system in the case of overload. And in the event of a large-scale disaster, the company has a Disaster Recovery Center dedicated to just such resources.
Types of monitoring available:
- Web-based services let you actually manage your home security system from a remote location, including internet-enabled PC or cellphone. You decide when to arm and disarm and get immediate alerts when your system is triggered.
- Protection One’s Home Hazard monitoring is a system add-on that offers 24/7 monitoring for your critical systems: safety monitoring like smoke, fire and carbon monoxide and utility monitoring including heating system and water detection.
